Women's Pavilion

Women can receive routine gynecologic and outpatient care through the OB/GYN Women's Center. If hospitalization is necessary, the Women's Pavilion, located on Sparrow Hospital's 7th floor, is the area's only inpatient medical surgical unit devoted entirely to women's health issues. Nurses in this department are carefully selected for their warmth, compassion and sensitivity in caring for women who undergo bladder repair surgery, mastectomy or hysterectomy, or are being treated for uterine, ovarian, or breast cancer. Our nurses are specially trained to assist women as they deal with grief and loss, chronic pain or life cycle changes.
