Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP)
What is Maternal Infant Health Program(MIHP)?
The goal of the Maternal Infant Health Program(MIHP) is to help you have a healthy
pregnancy. A nurse, nutritionist, and a social worker will meet with you
to provide teaching materials, help you find community resources, and
solve problems. We also have nurses that will make home visits. Maternal
Infant Health Program (MIHP) is in addition to your regularly
schedule visits with your doctor for prenatal care.
Am I eligible for the Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP)?
If you are pregnant and are eligible for either Medicaid or Healthy Kids, then you are eligible for the Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP). There is no charge for participation.
