Children's Miracle Network
Children’s Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for
170 affiliated children’s hospitals in the United States and Canada. Each year, these hospitals help
14 million children who suffer from diseases and injuries, including cancer, AIDS, birth defects, accidents
and trauma. In fact, Children’s Miracle Network hospitals help more children each year than any other
organization. Children's Miracle Network-affiliated hospitals treat all children, regardless of their
parents’ ability to pay.
More than 68,000 children from the mid-Michigan area visit the Sparrow Children’s Center
each year. Because of Children's Miracle Network, they get the best care possible. Children's Miracle Network
funds help to expand Sparrow’s facilities, conduct important research, purchase equipment and sponsor
community health and wellness programs.
The Sparrow Children’s Center
has been affiliated with Children's Miracle Network since 1988. Over the years, Sparrow has raised more than $19
million through Children’s Miracle Network. This money has been used in part to build Sparrow’s Neonatal
Intensive Care Unit, renovate the Pediatric Ward on the 5th floor and renovate the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Sparrow Health System is proud to be the Children's Miracle Network partner in mid-Michigan. All donations made
in the mid-Michigan area stay right here at Sparrow to help local kids.
