Sparrow Children's Center Giveathon

The Sparrow Children's Center Giveathon, presented by WILX TV 10 and Mid-Michigan Radio Group, is hosted by 92.1 FM WQTX, TV 10 news anchors, local celebrities, MSU coaches and Giveathon honorary chairs, Mark and Becky Dantonio.

This year, the Sparrow Foundation and Sparrow Children's Center are combining the Children's Miracle Network radiothon and telethon into one, big celebration. The Giveathon will take place Thursday, June 3 through Saturday, June 5 at the Sparrow Professional Building. The radio broadcast will be on 92.1 WQTX from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 3 and 4. The television broadcast will be on WILX TV 10 from 9 to 11:35 p.m. on June 4, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 5.

The live broadcast features not only our local talent, but also stories of local children who have benefited from the Sparrow Children's Center resources during the past year. Join us as we celebrate the inspiring stories of the miracle children who touch our hearts and illustrate the need for specialized pediatric services in mid-Michigan.

This broadcast also features local businesses, groups and individuals who raise money through some outstanding and creative efforts. Each hour we touch base with the National Children's Miracle Network Celebration in Orlando, Florida for great entertainment, special achievement awards and information about the state of pediatric healthcare today.
